Description

Delicious tuna cakes paired with a creamy and spicy mayo, delivering a flavorful and crunchy bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained tuna, green onions, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir well until fully incorporated.
  2. Form a portion of the mixture into a patty shape, about 1 inch thick.
  3. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Prepare the spicy mayo by mixing together mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a separate bowl.
  5. Serve the cakes warm with a drizzle of spicy mayo and garnish with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider baking or air frying the patties.
