Description

Ingredients

  • Pastel-colored glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your donut pan generously to prevent sticking.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. Combine buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Mix these wet ingredients until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Fill the donut pan with batter, aiming for about 3/4 full to allow for even rising.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk to your desired consistency.
