Description

A decadent dessert that combines ripe bananas and rich cream cheese, topped with a buttery crust and optional nuts for an inviting treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until blended.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. If using nuts, sprinkle them on top.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
