Description

A delightful strawberry cake that celebrates the essence of summer with every slice, combining moist cake layers with luscious strawberry flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1/4 cup strawberry syrup
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Strawberry glaze for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9×13 inch cake pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and strawberry puree.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely, then top with strawberry glaze if desired.

Notes

Cool the cake completely before frosting to prevent the glaze from sliding off. You can also make layer cakes or cupcakes using this batter.
