- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the flour and baking soda in a small bowl.
- Beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt in a large bowl until creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, beating until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips using a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
