- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits
- 6 eggs
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Butter (for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until light and frothy.
- Prepare the refrigerated biscuits by cutting them into quarters. Spread the pieces over the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Layer the cooked sausage, diced bell pepper, and shredded cheese over the biscuit layer.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
