Description

A creamy twist on classic guacamole infused with the savory flavors of bacon, lettuce, and tomato.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados: Slice each avocado in half, carefully remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado: Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired level of creaminess; some love it chunky, while others prefer it silky smooth.
  3. Stir in bacon and veggies: Add the diced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and chopped lettuce into the bowl. Gently fold them into the avocado mixture for an even distribution.
  4. Add lime juice and season: Squeeze in the lime juice and sprinkle salt and pepper over the top. Mix again until everything is well combined.
  5. Serve immediately: The guacamole tastes best fresh. Pair it with crispy tortilla chips or spread it on a fresh sandwich.

Notes

To prevent browning, cover tightly with plastic wrap pressed against the surface of the guacamole.
