- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped lettuce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the avocados: Slice each avocado in half, carefully remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado: Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired level of creaminess; some love it chunky, while others prefer it silky smooth.
- Stir in bacon and veggies: Add the diced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and chopped lettuce into the bowl. Gently fold them into the avocado mixture for an even distribution.
- Add lime juice and season: Squeeze in the lime juice and sprinkle salt and pepper over the top. Mix again until everything is well combined.
- Serve immediately: The guacamole tastes best fresh. Pair it with crispy tortilla chips or spread it on a fresh sandwich.
Notes
To prevent browning, cover tightly with plastic wrap pressed against the surface of the guacamole.
