Description
Deliciously chewy cookies featuring the vibrant flavors of blueberries and creamy white chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed and thoroughly dried
- 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar. Beat them together with an electric mixer for about two minutes. Add the egg, vanilla extract, salt, and baking soda. Mix until smooth.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing slowly to avoid a flour cloud. If the dough is too dry, add up to two tablespoons of milk.
- Add the Mix-Ins: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and carefully fold in the blueberries to keep them intact.
- Scoop and Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop dough balls and place them two inches apart on the sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool and Store: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for two minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For a softer texture, avoid overbaking. You can refrigerate the dough for up to three days before baking.
