Description

A heartwarming Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole with Ham, combining crispy hashbrowns, savory ham, and a rich layer of melted cheese, perfect for gatherings or a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (reserve some for topping)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine hashbrowns, diced ham, shredded cheese, sour cream, melted butter, and chopped onion in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle reserved cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and allow to rest for a few minutes before cutting.

Notes

For make-ahead, prepare the casserole the day before and refrigerate. Bake straight from the fridge, adding extra cooking time.
