Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
- Whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl until thoroughly blended.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Fold in the cherries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Spoon the muffin batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Mix together the topping ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over the muffin batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
