Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, blend melted butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients, folding gently.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and layer strawberry slices on top. Drizzle remaining batter over strawberries.
