Description
A comforting bowl of creamy garlic chicken ramen, rich in flavor and perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Chicken Breasts, Sliced
- 4 Cups Chicken Broth
- 2 Packages Ramen Noodles
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables (Bell Peppers, Carrots, Bok Choy)
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Chopped Green Onions for Garnish
Instructions
- Boil the broth: In a large pot, bring your chicken broth to a rapid boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions, typically about 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Cook the chicken: Meanwhile, heat a tablespoon of oil in your skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced chicken and sauté until golden brown and fully cooked, around 5-7 minutes.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, lower the heat and toss in the minced garlic. Cook for about one minute until fragrant.
- Create the creamy sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and soy sauce, then add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
- Combine and season: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stir until coated in the sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve it up: Dish the creamy garlic chicken ramen over the cooked noodles and garnish with green onions.
Notes
Make the sauce ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 2 days. For a quicker meal, use pre-sliced chicken.
