Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes: Place your peeled and diced potatoes into the crockpot. Add the rich chicken or vegetable broth.
- Set and forget: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Drain liquid: Once the potatoes are cooked, drain any excess liquid.
- Add the goodness: Pour in the browned butter, along with the heavy cream or milk. Season generously with salt, pepper, plus any optional spices.
- Mash away: Use a potato masher or hand mixer to blend until your desired creaminess is achieved.
