Description

Indulge in these deliciously golden-crusted cheesy cauliflower steaks, featuring a hearty texture and rich, creamy cheddar flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head Cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into thick steaks about 3/4 inch wide.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the mixture over both sides of each cauliflower steak.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the seasoned steaks in a single layer.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden-brown and tender.
  7. Sprinkle cheese over the steaks and bake for another 5-7 minutes until bubbly and melted.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare cauliflower steaks in advance and store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Can also be made in an air fryer at 400°F for 15-20 minutes.
