- 4 pieces Chicken Thighs (Bone-in, skin-on)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 packet Onion Soup Mix
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the pan; sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for 3-5 more minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and water. Pour mixture over seared chicken.
- Cover skillet, reduce heat to low, and let chicken simmer for 30-40 minutes.
- Once cooked through, remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider making your own cream of mushroom sauce. This dish pairs well with creamy mashed potatoes or rice.
