- ½ teaspoon salt

- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for finishing)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
- Add brown sugar, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar to the skillet, stirring until a smooth sauce forms.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the skillet, cooking for 5–6 minutes on each side while spooning sauce over the chicken.
- Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Before serving, add unsalted butter to the sauce, swirling it for a glossy finish.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with the sauce.
Notes
Marinade the chicken for a couple of hours for bolder flavors. Consider using an air fryer for a crispy exterior.
