Description

A vibrant and smoky side dish of perfectly grilled asparagus, enhanced with olive oil, butter, and a splash of lemon juice.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Asparagus
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Trim the ends of the asparagus, cutting away any woody parts.
  3. Place them in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Add melted butter, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  5. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
  6. Place asparagus directly on the grill grates.
  7. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender with grill marks.
  8. Remove from the grill and serve warm with a squeeze of lemon juice.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Trim and season asparagus and refrigerate until ready to grill. For alternative cooking, air fry or roast them in the oven for approximately 15 minutes at 400°F.
