Description

A delightful blend of seasoned ground lamb and spices grilled in crispy pita pockets, served with creamy labneh.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Labneh for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Slice each pita bread in half to create pockets.
  3. Fill each pita half with the lamb mixture evenly.
  4. Brush the outer surface of each stuffed pita with olive oil.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high.
  6. Place the stuffed pitas on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from the grill and allow to cool slightly.
  8. Serve warm with labneh for dipping.
