- 4 oz ham, diced
- 4 oz cheese (like cheddar or Swiss), shredded
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8-inch thick and cut into squares (about 3-4 inches per side).
- In a bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper, and mix until evenly combined.
- Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, ensuring space at the edges for sealing.
- Fold the corners of the square over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal.
- Brush the tops of each pastry with the beaten egg.
- Arrange the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, then enjoy!
