Description

Delightful Ham Cheese Puff Pastries filled with gooey cheese and savory ham, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 oz ham, diced
  • 4 oz cheese (like cheddar or Swiss), shredded
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8-inch thick and cut into squares (about 3-4 inches per side).
  3. In a bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper, and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, ensuring space at the edges for sealing.
  5. Fold the corners of the square over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal.
  6. Brush the tops of each pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Arrange the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, then enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead tips: You can prepare the filling in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Assemble and bake just before serving.
