Description

A rich and creamy cheesy dip featuring savory sausage, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 10 oz can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground sausage until crumbly and golden. Drain excess grease.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add cooked sausage, drained Rotel, cheddar, and mozzarella to the bowl. Mix well.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour dip into an oven-safe baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or toasted baguette slices. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
