Description

A comforting casserole filled with layers of crispy potatoes, juicy ground beef, and fresh green beans, topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups crispy potatoes (like hash browns or diced potatoes)
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the beef in a skillet with chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked.
  3. Combine the cooked beef mixture with crispy potatoes, green beans, and optional cream of mushroom soup and milk in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Add the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
