- 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into rectangles, approximately 4 x 6 inches.
- On one half of each rectangle, place a spoonful of pizza sauce and a heap of mozzarella cheese.
- If using pepperoni or any other toppings, layer them on top.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the filling.
- Fold the other half of the rectangle over the filling, press down to seal, and use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Place the stuffed pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
