- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/4 Cup Hot Honey
- Slider Buns
- Pickles (Optional)
- Oil for Frying
Instructions
- Mix the coating: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dip the chicken in the buttermilk, ensuring it’s fully covered.
- Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Fry the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Glaze the cooked chicken with hot honey in a bowl.
- Assemble the sandwich with chicken on slider buns, adding pickles if desired.
Notes
For juicier chicken, marinate in buttermilk overnight. To make it gluten-free, substitute regular flour with gluten-free flour.
