Description

A delightful sandwich featuring crispy fried chicken coated in spicy hot honey, served on soft slider buns with optional pickles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 Cup Hot Honey
  • Slider Buns
  • Pickles (Optional)
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the coating: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Dip the chicken in the buttermilk, ensuring it’s fully covered.
  3. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  4. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Fry the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  6. Glaze the cooked chicken with hot honey in a bowl.
  7. Assemble the sandwich with chicken on slider buns, adding pickles if desired.

Notes

For juicier chicken, marinate in buttermilk overnight. To make it gluten-free, substitute regular flour with gluten-free flour.
