- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup salami, sliced
- 1/2 cup ham, sliced
- 1/2 cup provolone cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup olives, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by washing and drying the romaine lettuce and spinach. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
- Next, halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber, and thinly slice the red onion. Add these colorful ingredients to the bowl.
- Now, slice the salami and ham into strips or bite-sized pieces and cube the provolone cheese. Toss them into the bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and use tongs to toss gently until well coated.
- At this point, you can serve immediately or let the salad sit in the refrigerator for an hour to enhance the flavors.
