Description

A delightful twist on a comfort food classic, these Jalapeno Popper Pigs in a Blanket are filled with creamy cheese, savory sausages, and a kick of spice, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of cocktail sausages
  • 1 package of jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Spread a little cream cheese mixture on a slice of jalapeño.
  4. Wrap a cocktail sausage in the jalapeño.
  5. Encase the jalapeño-wrapped sausage with crescent roll dough, sealing the edges.
  6. Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet with some space between them.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top before baking.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These poppers can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Try baking them in an air fryer for a quick alternative.
