- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, green onions, brown sugar, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until just mixed.
- Form the mixture into uniform balls about the size of golf balls.
- Arrange the meatballs on a lined baking sheet spaced apart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm with dipping sauces or rice.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prep meatballs a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. For a quicker method, cook in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes.
