Description

A delightful fusion of Korean BBQ flavors wrapped in soft tortillas, topped with fresh ingredients for a savory explosion in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or short ribs)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Optional toppings: kimchi, sriracha, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the beef to the marinade, ensuring it’s fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for richer flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the marinated beef on the heated surface, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  5. Remove the beef from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Warm the tortillas on the grill or skillet for about 1 minute until soft.
  7. Thinly slice the beef against the grain.
  8. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced beef on each tortilla and garnishing with green onions, cilantro, and any desired toppings.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
