Description

A heartwarming breakfast bake combining rolled oats, baked apples, and warm spices for a comforting morning dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine rolled oats, diced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped nuts in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together milk, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Grease your baking dish and pour in the mixture, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
