Description

A delightful blend of rich chocolate and creamy pumpkin puree, this Pumpkin Hot Chocolate is the perfect warming drink for autumn.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tbsp sugar or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup white or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • whipped cream for topping
  • cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar or maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until heated through, but don’t let it boil.
  2. Melt the chocolate: Stir in the chocolate chips, whisking until fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Serve warm: Pour the pumpkin hot chocolate into your favorite mugs.
  4. Top it off: Add whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.

Notes
