- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (seeds removed)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the pork pieces with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned pork to the skillet and sear until browned on all sides, approximately 5–6 minutes.
- Toss in the diced jalapeños and minced garlic, cooking for about 2–3 minutes.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Pour this mixture over the pork and jalapenos in the skillet.
- Reduce heat and let the pork simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle the freshly chopped cilantro over the top just before serving.
