Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and cut sweet potatoes into uniform chunks, then submerge them in a pot of salted boiling water. Cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk and butter, then mash until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the creamy mixture into a generously greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Combine chopped walnuts and breadcrumbs in a separate bowl, then sprinkle it over the mashed sweet potatoes.
