Description

A rich and creamy dish of layered sweet potatoes, enhanced with garlic, herbs, and a golden crust of Parmesan cheese. Perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 large Sweet Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp Rosemary, dried
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep the sweet potatoes by peeling and slicing them thinly.
  3. Mix the cream and seasonings together in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Grease your casserole dish generously.
  5. Layer the sweet potato slices, slightly overlapping them.
  6. Pour the cream mixture over the layers.
  7. Crown with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes.
  9. Unveil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, slice sweet potatoes evenly using a mandoline. Allow the dish to rest after baking for easier serving.
