- 4 large Sweet Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Thyme, dried
- 1 tsp Rosemary, dried
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prep the sweet potatoes by peeling and slicing them thinly.
- Mix the cream and seasonings together in a large mixing bowl.
- Grease your casserole dish generously.
- Layer the sweet potato slices, slightly overlapping them.
- Pour the cream mixture over the layers.
- Crown with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes.
- Unveil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, slice sweet potatoes evenly using a mandoline. Allow the dish to rest after baking for easier serving.
