Description

A rich and comforting spaghetti casserole layered with savory ground beef, marinara sauce, and creamy cheeses, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Assemble the casserole a day in advance and refrigerate. Adjust cooking time if baking from the fridge.
