- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for a few minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Assemble the casserole a day in advance and refrigerate. Adjust cooking time if baking from the fridge.
