- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash and slice the strawberries, then set aside in a large bowl.
- Combine the strawberries, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans in the bowl.
- Add the drained crushed pineapple and fold gently.
- Mix the whipped topping, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Fold the creamy mix over the salad base, being careful not to crush the strawberries.
- Refrigerate the salad for at least 120 minutes.
- Before serving, fold in the Rice Krispies cereal.
Notes
