Description

A vibrant and refreshing salad featuring juicy strawberries, mini marshmallows, crunchy pecans, and Rice Krispies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the strawberries, then set aside in a large bowl.
  2. Combine the strawberries, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans in the bowl.
  3. Add the drained crushed pineapple and fold gently.
  4. Mix the whipped topping, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Fold the creamy mix over the salad base, being careful not to crush the strawberries.
  6. Refrigerate the salad for at least 120 minutes.
  7. Before serving, fold in the Rice Krispies cereal.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the salad a day in advance but add the Rice Krispies just before serving to keep them crispy.
