Description

A flavorful Teriyaki Ground Turkey Bowl bursting with savory ground turkey, crunchy broccoli, and sweet carrots, all drizzled with a rich homemade teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Pour the sesame oil into a large skillet over medium heat. Allow it to warm until it shimmers.
  2. Brown the turkey: Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart as it sizzles. Cook until it turns golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Combine with sauce and veggies: Stir in the teriyaki sauce, broccoli, and carrots. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. Serve: Layer the mixture over cooked rice, letting the sauce seep into the grains.
  5. Garnish: Top with chopped green onions just before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: You can prepare the turkey and vegetables in advance, storing them in the refrigerator for up to three days.
