- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by lining it with cupcake liners.
- Combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl, whisking until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls: add red food coloring to one, blue to another, and leave the last one plain.
- Spoon the different colored batters into the liners, layering them to create a tie-dye effect.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cupcakes completely before frosting them with buttercream and adding sprinkles if desired.
