Delicious and crispy air fryer apple fritters filled with warm apple chunks and flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Ingredients

- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown.
- Remove the fritters and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Make-Ahead Tips: Prepare the batter and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Just allow it to come to room temperature before cooking.
