Description

Crispy and flavorful chicken tenders coated in potato chips, cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed potato chips
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up your dredging station: flour, eggs, and crushed potato chips in separate bowls.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, then shake off excess.
  5. Dip floured chicken into the beaten eggs, then coat with crushed potato chips.
  6. Arrange tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dips.

Notes

For make-ahead tips, coat the chicken and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before cooking. Experiment with different coatings like cornflakes or panko for variety.
