Deliciously crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, these air fryer salmon cakes are a healthy twist on a classic comfort food.

- 1 can (14 oz) of flaky salmon, drained
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, chopped green onions, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, approximately 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the salmon cakes in the basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, refrigerate the mixture for about 15 minutes before forming patties. You can also bake these cakes in a conventional oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
