Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll it out to about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Cut out circles using a biscuit cutter.
  8. Place half of the circles on a baking sheet and spoon a dollop of apple pie filling on each.
