Description

Deliciously addictive Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, featuring smoky bacon and creamy cheese filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise, removing all seeds and membranes.
  3. Blend the cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the poppers on a baking sheet with space between them and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These poppers can be prepared in advance and refrigerated until baking. Also can be cooked in an air fryer for quicker preparation.
