Description

Delicious baked chicken tacos filled with seasoned ground chicken, topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in crispy shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Monterey Jack, cheddar, or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the chicken and mix well for about a minute.
  4. Fill each taco shell with the seasoned chicken mixture.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the taco shells.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until cheese melts and taco shells are golden.
  7. Garnish with lettuce, diced tomato, sour cream, and salsa if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
