Description

A flavorful and fun grilling dish featuring a whole chicken infused with beer and spices, delivering juicy, tender meat with a crispy skin.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can of beer (or soda)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry.
  3. Combine the olive oil and spices in a small bowl.
  4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken.
  5. Open the can of beer and pour out half of it.
  6. Place the beer can in the cavity of the chicken.
  7. Stand the chicken upright on the grill grates.
  8. Close the grill lid and cook for about 60-90 minutes.
  9. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
