- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- Hoagie rolls
- Sliced cheese (provolone or Swiss)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the roast: Place the chuck roast into the slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Flavor infusion: Sprinkle the French onion soup mix evenly over the roast. Pour in the beef broth.
- Slow cook magic: Cover and set the slow cooker on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the goodness: Remove the meat and shred it into strands with a meat fork or shredder.
