Description

Ingredients

  • 23 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Hoagie rolls
  • Sliced cheese (provolone or Swiss)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the roast: Place the chuck roast into the slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Flavor infusion: Sprinkle the French onion soup mix evenly over the roast. Pour in the beef broth.
  3. Slow cook magic: Cover and set the slow cooker on low for 8 hours.
  4. Shred the goodness: Remove the meat and shred it into strands with a meat fork or shredder.
