Description

A luxurious trifle combining layers of soft cake, velvety chocolate pudding, and light whipped cream, perfect for sharing on special occasions.


Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake: Follow instructions on the yellow cake mix box and allow to cool completely before cutting into cubes.
  2. Make the Pudding: In a bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  3. Cut the Cake: Slice the cooled cake into small uniform cubes.
  4. Layer Ingredients: Begin with a layer of cake cubes, then add chocolate pudding and whipped cream.
  5. Repeat Layers: Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream.
  6. Garnish and Chill: Add chocolate shavings on top and refrigerate for a few hours to meld flavors.
