- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup brownie mix
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, around 2 to 3 minutes.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the cookie dough into the greased pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour it over the cookie dough layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough on top of the brownie mix.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the brookies cool completely before cutting them into squares.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overmixing the dough.
