Description

A delightful treat combining buttery toffee, creamy chocolate, and crunchy pecans, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add vanilla and salt, stirring until combined.
  4. Spread the toffee mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt for about 5 minutes.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly across the toffee layer.
  8. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the melted chocolate and press lightly.
  9. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until fully set.
  10. Break into pieces and enjoy.
