- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add vanilla and salt, stirring until combined.
- Spread the toffee mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt for about 5 minutes.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly across the toffee layer.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the melted chocolate and press lightly.
- Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until fully set.
- Break into pieces and enjoy.
