Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 packages cream cheese (8 oz each, softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until mixed well. Press this crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. Make the filling: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until completely smooth.
  4. Incorporate the eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Add chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over your prepared crust, smoothing the top with your spatula.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center remains slightly jiggly.
  8. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
