A delicious and comforting Cinnamon Swirl Bread with rich brown sugar and cinnamon swirls, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Combine warm milk and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, stirring until well combined. Gradually add the flour mixture.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, and cover it with a kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread melted butter over the dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one long edge and seal the edges.
- Slice the log into 9 even pieces and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool the bread in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For make-ahead, you can prepare the dough in advance and refrigerate after the first rise.
