Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, packed brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, combining gently until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
